The fall is usually accompanied by some great conferences for tech and communications lawyers. This year is no exception.
The IT.Can 21st Annual Conference will be held on October 23 and 24, 2017 at the St. Andrew’s Club and Conference Centre in Toronto. There are some terrific plenaries and break-out sessions, as usual. This is the best annual conference for Canadian tech lawyers and a great way to catch up on recent developments. The conference brochure and registration information can be found at IT.Can’s website.
The International Institute of Communications (IIC)– Canadian Chapter will be hosting their first annual Communications Law and Policy conference on November 14 and 15, 2017 at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa. This is a continuation of the Biennial National Conferences that used to be provided by The Law Society of Upper Canada and the Media and Communications Law Section of The Canadian Bar Association. This is the not to be missed conference for communications lawyers. The conference brochure and registration information can be found here.
I will be speaking at both conferences. Look forward to seeing you all there.
